HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
We like to quote for each journey individually, we believe this helps us to give you a flexible and fair price based on the range of services we can offer
Minimum charge is £70
One hour wait time plus grooming service included as standard from one of our friendly and supportive drivers
Additional waiting time is charged at £10 per hour
Our ethos is to provide affordable transport to get you and your horse to where you want to be
DO YOU DO SELF-DRIVE HIRE?
We offer stress-free horse transport with a driver at rate competitive with self-drive hire. No need to worry about:
Picking up/dropping off a lorry
Additional rental paperwork
Having to clean the lorry
Having to fill up a lorry
We'll come and pick you up, drive you to your destination and take care everything else - allowing you to focus on your day. So unfortunately, we do not offer self drive hire - but we think we are able to offer competitive rates
DO YOU DO LONG DISTANCE TRIPS?
Yes! We travel nationally - having two drivers enables us to cover most of the UK mainland
WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
We are based in Sussex, providing competitive quotes for transport throughout East and West Sussex, Kent and Surrey
We also do yard moves nationally to and from the area, minimising the cost where possible through shared loads where we can
DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
We ask for a 50% deposit to secure the date for you. The deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation as we may have had to turn away others to keep the day free for you
If you need to cancel for reasons beyond your control (event cancelled, lameness or illness) we are able to transfer the deposit to your next trip
WHAT IS THE PAYLOAD OF YOUR LORRY?

DO YOU PROVIDE GROOMING SERVICES?
Yes! We love helping out and are happy to help with everything on the day - all included in the cost
We can help with everything including:
Tacking up
Walking-off your horse
Sponging down
Reading/videoing tests
Putting up jumps
CAN YOU HELP ME WITH TIDE TIMES FOR BEACH RIDES?
We are familiar with all the local riding beaches and are happy to help you figure out which beach is best to go to and when
DO YOU DO SHARED LOADS?
Generally, all of our trips are dedicated loads. For long journeys we are happy to try and reduce the cost for you by sharing the journey where we are able to
DO YOU SUPPLY WATER AND HAY?
We ask that, where possible, you provide hay in a hay net that your horse is used to. We carry spare hay just in case
We also carry 25 litres of water, which is sufficient for most journeys
DO YOU INCLUDE REST STOPS?
Yes - for longer journeys (more than 3 hours) we take rest stops in which we will offer your horse water. However, we avoid unloading your horse unless absolutely necessary
We are not permitted to drive for more than 8 hours and do not arrange overnight stays
WHAT DOCUMENTATION DO I NEED?
Horses are required to travel with their passport, you may also need your additional documentation for certain events and competitions (which should be checked with the event organiser)
